Hi I'M SHAWN, THE STAND-UP COMEDIAN
Known for his observational humour and self- deprecating wit, Shawn performs regularly in the Singapore comedy scene and has also brought his comedy to Thailand and the Philippines. In August 2023, Shawn headlined The Lemon Stand Comedy Club and launched the comedy gameshow, “In Yo Face”. He has also performed at corporate and private events, notably being part of NTUC Income’s first ever drive-thru comedy show in Singapore (and possibly the world) in March 2025.
THE COMEDY VENTRILOQUIST/ MAGICIAN
In 2006, Shawn won the International Brotherhood of Magicians (Singapore) magic competition. He then began an almost decade long career as a comedy magician, performing at events in Singapore. Along the way, he developed a unique act that blended comedy, magic and ventriloquism. In 2015, he took his hybrid ventriloquism-magic act to Asia’s Got Talent where the 4 judges gave him a unanimous YES vote. He has since performed his ventriloquist-magic show across SEA, China, India and the Middle East.
THE HOST
Shawn is known as an engaging host who blends humour, personality, and professionalism. He effortlessly commands the room and keeps the momentum flowing. His lively presence, strong audience connection, and spontaneous wit ensure every moment feels polished, fun, and unforgettable. He hosted the 2026 Run For Life event at the National Stadium and Deepak Chandran’s 2025 comedy specials at the Drama Centre among others.

Shawn is an ACLP-certified trainer who draws from his years of stand-up comedy and live performance experience to deliver engaging, high-impact workshops focused on communication skills. His sessions teach participants how to communicate ideas clearly, present confidently, engage audiences, think on their feet, and build authentic connections in both personal and professional settings.
